The EC's figures revealed that Chennithala achieved a commanding lead over his nearest competitor from the CPI, T T Jismon, by a margin of 23,377 votes.

Chennithala's victory was marked by his securing 68,184 votes, equivalent to 47.08% of the total votes in the constituency. The result boosts his chances in the race for the post of Kerala Chief Minister. This electoral success follows his previous wins in 2021 and 2016, where he maintained strong percentages of the votes, demonstrating his consistent popularity.
