Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Puducherry to a vibrant reception by BJP workers, who greeted him with chants of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' and 'Jai Shri Ram.'
Modi, alongside Chief Minister N Rangasamy and Home Minister A Namassivayam, embarked on a roadshow starting near the Ajanta signal point.
Cultural performances and traditional dances marked the event, as the procession journeyed towards its conclusion near the Kamarajar statue, less than 2 km away, ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections on April 9.
