The DMK-led alliance appears poised for a considerable triumph in the approaching 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections, according to a comprehensive survey conducted by Lok Poll.
Predicting the DMK coalition to capture between 181–189 seats, the survey expects a substantial 40.1 percent vote share. The ADMK-led alliance is set to gain 38–42 seats, achieving a 29 percent share. Notably, movie star Vijay's TVK is making its debut, with expectations to secure between 8–10 seats, backed by a 23.9 percent share.
The survey also indicates incumbent Chief Minister M K Stalin is the leading choice for the position, garnering 41 percent of the support, followed by Vijay and Edappadi K Palaniswami. Lok Poll's reputation for detailed electoral analytics and regional trend analysis in Indian politics stands reaffirmed.
