In a scathing critique, Tamil Nadu Minister KN Nehru took aim at AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami, raising concerns over his leadership in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and dependency on Union Home Minister Amit Shah for seat-sharing negotiations.
According to a statement by the ruling DMK, Nehru has questioned the venue of these crucial talks, arguing that if AIADMK truly spearheads the NDA in Tamil Nadu, discussions should be happening at its Chennai headquarters or at Palaniswami's residence, rather than Amit Shah's New Delhi home.
Traditionally, under stalwarts like MG Ramachandran and J Jayalalithaa, seat allocations were managed by the primary alliance party. However, Nehru claims Palaniswami's reliance on outside party leaders for negotiations marks a significant deviation, leaving AIADMK members frustrated as elections approach.
