Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has dispatched a delegation, led by security council secretary Rustem Umerov, to the United States. The delegation's mission is to continue negotiations on a pivotal agreement to conclude Russia's ongoing war.

According to a statement made by Zelenskiy on the social media platform X, Umerov delivered a briefing outlining the necessity for prompt and meaningful action to bring the conflict to an end. Zelenskiy stressed the urgency of implementing decisive steps.

Additionally, the Ukrainian President expressed his hopes that the outcomes of previous discussions held in Geneva would be solidified during talks scheduled for Sunday, highlighting his commitment to achieving peace.
