Prachanda Warns Against Monarchist Resurgence Amidst Political Tensions in Nepal

Addressing a massive rally in Bhrikutimandap, Prachanda accused monarchists of seeking to instill fear in citizens by advocating for royal reinstatement.

He criticized former king Gyanendra Shah's past actions that led to his diminished status and warned against repeating such errors. The unrest, highlighted by monarchist-instigated violence, underscores the fragile political climate in Nepal.
