Mayawati Condemns SP's Political Tactics After Attack on Dalit MP's Residence

The incident involved Karni Sena members, upset over Suman's comments about historical figure Rana Sanga. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav condemned the violence and questioned law enforcement.

In a fiery critique, Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati accused the Samajwadi Party of manipulating Dalit leaders for political gains. This follows an attack on Rajya Sabha MP Ramji Lal Suman's Agra residence by Karni Sena members, incited by Suman's remarks on Rana Sanga in Parliament.

Mayawati took to social media platform X, decrying SP's tactics as detrimental to societal harmony. She voiced concern over the incident, urging Dalits to be vigilant against such political maneuvers. SP, she warned, risks disturbing peace by playing communities against each other.

SP leader Akhilesh Yadav condemned the violence and questioned Uttar Pradesh's law and order under the Yogi Adityanath government. He clarified that SP does not dispute Rana Sanga's valor, attributing the attack to Suman's Dalit identity. The Agra Police filed an FIR against the attackers, highlighting ongoing tensions.
