Haryana's Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini, encouraged MLAs on Thursday to promote the use of the e-Bhoomi portal among farmers in their constituencies for fair land valuation or participation in land pooling for Industrial Model Townships (IMTs).

Saini, who recently presented the state's Rs 2.05 lakh crore budget for 2025-26, stressed that the government aims for a cooperative approach with farmers, in contrast to previous forced land acquisitions under the Congress regime.

He further highlighted a surge in state mining revenue due to a transparent process, addressing the Assembly's concerns amid political exchanges with Congress leaders.
