Kunal Kamra, a renowned stand-up comedian, has launched a scathing attack on mainstream media, accusing it of partisan reporting and serving as the ruling party's propaganda tool. In a post on X, Kamra labeled the media as 'vultures' and criticized its role in misinforming the public while ignoring crucial issues.

Responding to media requests amid his growing controversy, Kamra boldly stated that the media's absence would benefit the nation. His remarks came as he faced backlash over jokes allegedly targeting Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister and his latest parody song critiquing Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Despite the uproar, Kamra remains undeterred.

The stand-up artist has been summoned by Mumbai Police in connection with complaints about his satirical content aimed at political figures, including former Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Although Kamra's lawyer has communicated with police officials, he has yet to appear for questioning. Investigations continue as the police scrutinize Kamra's previous statements for potential legal action.
