A European Commission spokesperson indicated a forthcoming suite of U.S. reciprocal tariffs set to be enacted next week, conveying the EU's regret over the escalating trade tensions.
Commission spokesman Olof Gill briefed reporters, stating, 'We are preparing for all these measures,' and while specific timing for the EU's response remains undetermined, the spokesperson assured a decisive and impactful reaction.
