BJP MP K Sudhakar criticized Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, accusing him of hypocritical opposition to the three-language policy. The political tug-of-war over language policies intensified as BJP MP K Sudhakar launched a piercing critique of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Thursday. Sudhakar accused Stalin of harboring "retrograde thinking" in response to Stalin's disparagement of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's comments regarding the contentious three-language policy.

Sudhakar accused Stalin of hypocrisy, highlighting that many leaders within Stalin's party send their children to Delhi schools to study Hindi, while allegedly restricting the educational prospects of Tamil Nadu's underprivileged youth. Conversely, numerous members of Stalin's family reportedly possess fluency in Hindi, adding fuel to Sudhakar's argument against Stalin's stance.

The debate accentuated when Stalin reciprocated by branding Adityanath's remarks as "political black comedy." Emphasizing dignity and justice, Stalin argued that Tamil Nadu opposes language imposition, not languages themselves. Meanwhile, CM Adityanath voiced concerns over divisive politics, urging for unity across language divides. The ongoing debate underscores larger disputes over the National Education Policy 2020 and electoral risks perceived by both parties.
