Samajwadi Party Rajya Sabha MP Ramji Lal Suman is at the center of a political storm following his controversial remarks about historical figure Rana Sanga. Suman's comments, branding the 16th-century Mewar ruler a 'traitor,' have sparked outrage among Rajput-centric group Karni Sena, resulting in a violent backlash.

On Wednesday, amid tensions in Agra's Hari Parvat Chauraha, Karni Sena activists vandalized Suman's residence. Videos capture chaos as the mob damaged property, confronting police officers who tried to manage the scene. The agitation, escalating into broken glass and damaged vehicles, underscores the volatility surrounding Suman's statements.

Suman steadfastly defended his remarks, citing historical evidence and insisting on not apologizing. He recounted the alarming attack to the Rajya Sabha Chairman, highlighting threats from social media and the menacing presence of a bulldozer on the day of the incident. An FIR has been filed against the attackers, while political tensions remain high.
