The BJP's innovative 'Saugat-e-Modi' initiative, led by Uttar Pradesh Minorities Minister Danish Azad Ansari, is poised to provide substantial benefits to some of the state's economically disadvantaged Muslim communities, specifically the Pasmanda Muslims, through the distribution of food and clothing kits ahead of Eid.
Ansari, the only Muslim representative in Yogi Adityanath's cabinet, emphasized the unique nature of the initiative, noting the inclusion of essential edible items and clothing for Muslim women. The program is already underway in regions prone to unrest, further underscoring the BJP's commitment to community outreach.
Historically marginalized, the Pasmanda Muslims have become the focal point of the BJP's minority outreach efforts, following significant electoral wins in Muslim-majority regions like Rampur and Kundarki. Ansari asserts that government scheme benefits are now reaching these communities more than ever before.
