The political atmosphere in Uttar Pradesh is heating up following comments by Samajwadi Party MP Awadhesh Prasad, who has taken a sharp swipe at Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Prasad claims that the safety of Hindus, Muslims, and young women has been jeopardized since the BJP took power in the state.

Prasad's accusations point to the use of bulldozers against Muslim establishments as unconstitutional, suggesting that such tactics are an effort to divert attention from governance failures. He also accuses Adityanath of fostering communal discord.

Meanwhile, CM Yogi Adityanath has defended his administration, asserting that communal safety has significantly improved under BJP rule. Highlighting a cessation of riots since 2017, Adityanath argues that both Hindus and Muslims are now safer, focusing on equitable treatment for all residents.
