Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi claimed the Lok Sabha was being run in an undemocratic manner as he was denied a chance to speak during proceedings on Wednesday.
The allegations followed Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla's request for adherence to procedural rules, leading to controversy as the House adjourned prematurely.
Some 70 Congress MPs, including key figures like Gaurav Gogoi and KC Venugopal, supported Gandhi, meeting with the Speaker to protest the repeated denial of speaking opportunities.
