In a statement corroborating Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's recent comments on religious safety, BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj asserted that Muslims are more secure in India than in Pakistan, Afghanistan, or Balochistan. Maharaj emphasized the democratic approach to reviving pilgrimage sites and rejected the actions of historical Muslim invaders.
BJP MP Dinesh Sharma echoed this sentiment, reaffirming the party's national policy, 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas'. Sharma stressed the government's role in building trust across communities, citing Adityanath's efforts to ensure security for all, irrespective of religious identity.
Chief Minister Adityanath emphasized his commitment to equal safety for Hindus and Muslims, highlighting the lack of communal riots since the BJP assumed power in 2017. He pointed out the tolerant nature of Hindus, describing the improved safety environment for Muslim families in the state.
