In a significant leadership shift, the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) has appointed Abhay Singh Chautala as its national president. This announcement follows a decision made by the party's Parliamentary Working Committee and aligns with the vision of his late father and former chief, Om Prakash Chautala.

The INLD's reorganization includes the reappointment of Rampal Majra as the state unit chief, alongside a complete overhaul of the party's national and state executives. These changes aim to strengthen the party's framework and broaden its base across several states, including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Punjab, and Himachal Pradesh.

Abhay Chautala, embarking on his new role, pledges to uphold the policies of Chaudhary Devi Lal and Om Prakash Chautala. He plans an ambitious mass contact tour, targeting village-level engagement by visiting 10-12 villages daily. Additionally, Abhay Chautala assumes the role of chairman of the Parliamentary Affairs Committee, poised to drive INLD's future strategic directions.
