Protests flared across Rajasthan on Tuesday as Sarv Hindu Samaj, Vishva Hindu Parishad, and Bajrang Dal members demanded accountability from Samajwadi Party's Rajya Sabha MP Ramjilal Suman over his controversial remarks on Rana Sanga.
The demonstrators gathered in cities like Jaipur, Bikaner, and Ajmer, venting their ire by burning an effigy of Suman and submitting a memorandum to local authorities addressed to the vice president, calling for swift action against the MP.
The controversy erupted after a video of Suman labeling Rana Sanga a 'traitor' circulated. VHP's national spokesperson, Amitosh Pareek, urged immediate punitive measures to deter similar behavior from public representatives in the future.
