Raghav Chadha, a Member of Parliament from the Aam Aadmi Party, underscored the critical imperative for India to spearhead the Artificial Intelligence (AI) race rather than trail in its wake. Stressing Tuesday's Zero Hour remarks, Chadha declared, "Ye samay AI ka hai!" warning that while the world speeds ahead in AI, India risks lagging.

Chadha spotlighted the disparity in global AI investments, highlighting that "The US has committed over 500 billion dollars, China over 137 billion, while India invests a mere one billion." He noted the US's dominance in AI patents, warning India must shift from being a consumer to a creator of AI technologies.

Emphasizing India's AI talent prowess, Chadha called for action to maintain this competitive edge, advocating for "Make AI in India." He stressed AI's significance beyond technology, tied to economic power and national security, urging the government to devise a time-bound National AI Strategy with committed funding and infrastructural advancements.
