Ruckus Erupts in Odisha Assembly as Opposition Persistently Protests

Despite multiple appeals from Speaker Surama Padhy and an all-party meeting called by Deputy Speaker Bhabani Shankar Bhoi, the protests have shown no signs of abating as Congress members refuse to cooperate without the formation of a House Committee.

The ongoing disruptions have led to legislative work being stalled, with government resources being squandered due to adjournments. BJP members have criticized the opposition for hindering the assembly's functioning. Meanwhile, the Congress party stages sit-ins on the premises to voice their demands, while BJD members press for educational reservations for marginalized communities.
