Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) MP T. Siva has reaffirmed the party's commitment to standing by minorities, particularly Muslims. Speaking on Tuesday, Siva highlighted Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin's dedication to safeguarding Muslim rights, linking the party's decisions directly with Stalin's leadership.

On Monday, Chief Minister Stalin attended an Iftar party organized by the State Minority Rights Division, underscoring the historical and robust alliance between the DMK and the Muslim community. He reiterated the DMK government's decades-long support for Muslims, mentioning key initiatives like reinstating Miladi Nabi as a government holiday.

Stalin fondly recalled former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi's efforts to strengthen DMK-Muslim relations, affirming that the Dravidian Model Government will continue this legacy. He also stressed the party's opposition to any schemes against Muslims, pledging unwavering support to the community.
