Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin reiterated his party's unwavering support to the Muslim community, vowing to guard their rights against any political threats.
Speaking at an Iftar event organized by the DMK's minority wing in Thiruvanmiyur, Stalin assured that the DMK would oppose any policy or legislation that sought to target Muslims.
Citing the Citizenship Amendment Act, which the DMK opposed in contrast to the AIADMK's support, Stalin criticized former Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami for his participation in an Iftar, despite his past support for the controversial act.
