Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, also the finance minister, is set to present the BJP's first budget in Delhi in more than 26 years. She noted the ceremony marks a historic first for the Delhi Assembly.
Highlighting the BJP's return to leading Delhi's budget after 27 years, Gupta likened it to Lord Ram's return to Ayodhya after 14 years in exile. Participants from various sections of society took part in the ceremony, reinforcing the budget's aim for inclusive development under Prime Minister Modi's leadership.
