Political tensions are escalating in Bihar following a storm of controversies. Congress leader Pawan Khera criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar over a viral video involving the National Anthem and questioned his health. In response, Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh, also known as Lalan Singh, dismissed Khera's concerns and advised focusing on himself instead. Singh emphasized that Nitish Kumar remains healthy and committed to Bihar's development.

Bihar Minister Mangal Pandey took the exchange further by critiquing Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Lalu Prasad Yadav's family as the 'most non-serious politicians' in the state. His comments came as a rebuttal to RJD's demand for Chief Minister Kumar to apologize for allegedly talking during the National Anthem. Pandey defended Kumar's respect for national traditions, contrasting it with RJD's conduct.

The controversy originated from a video shared by RJD leaders, portraying Kumar conversing with an official during the anthem. The BJP and state leadership have responded fiercely to Congress's criticisms, highlighting the ongoing political tensions in Bihar. Khera also expressed concerns over Bihar's governance under the BJP, questioning the state's safety and development trajectory.
