Bharatiya Janata Party's government in Uttar Pradesh celebrated its eighth anniversary, with Deputy Chief Ministers Brajesh Pathak and Keshav Prasad Maurya highlighting significant achievements in governance. They emphasized advancements in maintaining law and order and advancing infrastructure projects across the state.
Speaking to reporters in Lucknow, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya hailed these years as historic, showcasing unprecedented progress for Uttar Pradesh. He expressed confidence in the BJP's ability to win a majority in the 2027 assembly elections, aiming to secure over 300 seats.
Meanwhile, DCM Brajesh Pathak emphasized the fulfillment of the BJP's 2017 promise of 'fear-free governance,' claiming that Uttar Pradesh now leads the nation in law and order. Pathak criticized the opposition Samajwadi Party for promoting casteism and nepotism, noting that BJP currently holds a strong majority with 258 seats in the state assembly.
