Madhya Pradesh Congress Chief Jitu Patwari has launched a scathing critique of the BJP-led state government's budget for the financial year 2025-26, presented in the Assembly on Wednesday. Patwari described the budget as a mechanism designed to plunge the state further into debt and institutionalize corruption.
In a detailed post shared on the social platform X, Patwari accused the government of failing to offer concrete development plans while promising job creation and infrastructural expansion that remain largely unfulfilled. Emphasizing the absence of adequate resources in medical education and lamenting the unmet promises in welfare schemes, Patwari highlighted numerous budgetary shortcomings.
Patwari vehemently argued that the budget fails to provide relief to farmers or deliver on job creation pledges, with many government posts remaining unfilled. He underscored the disillusionment with broken promises on women's welfare initiatives, connecting unkept commitments to a broader narrative of alleged governmental malpractice.
