Usha Vance, who met the Vice President at Yale Law School, is a prominent litigator and previously clerked for Chief Justice John G Roberts. Her academic accomplishments include a bachelor's from Yale and a master's from Cambridge University, where she earned a Gates Cambridge Scholarship.
