U.S. Resumes Military Aid to Ukraine Amid Peace Talks

The U.S. has lifted its pause on military aid and intelligence sharing with Ukraine, following a previous halt aimed at encouraging peace talks between Ukrainian President Zelenskyy and Russia. The decision was revealed during discussions in Saudi Arabia, where Ukraine also proposed a potential cease-fire with Russia.

The Trump administration announced on Tuesday it would immediately lift its suspension of military aid to Ukraine, alongside resuming intelligence sharing with Kyiv. This move comes more than a week after initially implementing these measures to press Ukraine's President Zelenskyy to initiate negotiations with Russia.

The decision was unveiled during discussions held in Saudi Arabia between Ukraine and the United States. Concurrently, Ukraine expressed its willingness to consider a 30-day cease-fire in the conflict with Russia, conditional upon receiving approval from the Kremlin.

This development marks a significant shift in U.S. diplomacy regarding the ongoing war, as the international community continues to seek avenues for lasting peace in the region.
