Addressing a public event, Solanke claimed he spent Rs 10-12 crore, although he later clarified it was said in jest.
The remarks, captured in a viral video, have sparked discussion about the role of money in elections, with Solanke acknowledging party funds of Rs 40 lakh, of which he spent Rs 23 lakh and returned the remainder.
