US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has announced a pivotal tour to the Indo-Pacific region, aimed at fostering robust diplomatic ties and ensuring clear communication channels to meet President Donald Trump's objectives of global peace and prosperity.

Gabbard, an experienced Pacific native, shared her itinerary on Monday, revealing stops in Japan, Thailand, and India, with a brief layover in France. Her commitment to strengthening international partnerships was evident as she shared a photograph aboard an airplane en route to her first stop in Honolulu.

This trip marks Gabbard's first visit to India as the eighth Senate-confirmed and first female combat veteran DNI. Previously, she met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in February during his visit to Washington, DC. Modi warmly acknowledged their discussions on enhancing US-India relations.
