All India Mahila Congress President Alka Lamba spearheaded a protest at Jantar Mantar on Monday, pressing for the implementation of the 33 percent women's reservation.
Lamba highlighted that although the Women's Reservation Bill was successfully passed in the Rajya Sabha during the Congress government's tenure, it has yet to clear the Lok Sabha hurdle.
The Congress leader emphasized their commitment to championing the cause of marginalized women, reiterating the call for President Droupadi Murmu's involvement in addressing women's issues.
