In a spirited defense, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy charged that the BRS and BJP are attacking the state's recent caste survey findings. He contends this criticism arises from their anxiety over backward classes claiming their rightful power share based on survey results.

Reddy held consultations with backward class associations, condemning the opposition's portrayal of the caste survey as faulty. He emphasized the survey, conducted last November and December, was executed with precision and stands accurate.

The Chief Minister argued that the previous BRS regime's undisclosed Comprehensive Family Survey was riddled with inaccuracies and wielded for electoral gains, rather than serving the public. He encouraged BC leaders to affirm the survey's legitimacy, describing it as sacred to all weaker sections. The political clash over the caste survey is expected to intensify as Reddy rallies support against alleged misinformation.
