Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has voiced strong criticism against the U.S. administration under President Donald Trump, accusing it of making miscalculations in the Middle East. Erdogan claims that the U.S. reliance on 'Zionist lies' is worsening regional conflicts.

Turkey has expressed firm opposition to Trump's plans to relocate over 2 million Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, assert U.S. governance over the area, and transform it into the so-called 'Riviera of the Middle East.' Additionally, Turkey condemns Israel's military actions in Gaza as genocide, calling for international sanctions against the Israeli government.

Erdogan's remarks were made during a conversation with journalists upon his return from a tour of Malaysia, Indonesia, and Pakistan. He criticized the lack of signs of a true ceasefire in Gaza, despite a truce between Israel and Hamas, and highlighted the failure of the Muslim world to take a unified stance on this pressing issue.
