Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not intervening in the deportation of Indian migrants from the US. Kharge questioned why Modi, who claims a close friendship with US President Donald Trump, did not prevent the inhumane treatment of deported Indian migrants.
According to Kharge, Indian migrants were returned to India on a cargo plane, treated inhumanely, and Modi failed to arrange a passenger flight despite his purported friendship with Trump. The Congress leader questioned the authenticity of Modi's assertions regarding his ties with Trump.
Kharge highlighted that while personal relationships may exist, they should not overshadow the need for nations to maintain amicable relations. He expressed disappointment in Modi, suggesting that despite his confident speech, the outcome of his diplomatic efforts remains unsatisfactory.
