Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren expressed profound sorrow over the death of Captain Karamjit Singh Bakshi and another army jawan in an IED explosion in Jammu, conveying his condolences to their families.
The explosion, which the Army suspects was triggered by terrorists, happened near the Line of Control in Akhnoor during a routine patrol. Both soldiers were killed, and another was injured in the blast.
Bakshi's mortal remains will be returned to his home in Jharkhand's Hazaribagh district. Leaders from the state, including BJP's Babulal Marandi, highlighted the bravery and sacrifice of the fallen soldiers, ensuring their sacrifices are not forgotten.
