Bihar's Prohibition Minister, Ratnesh Sada, sustained injuries when a tempo struck him during a morning walk in his village on Wednesday, according to police reports.

The incident unfolded in Balia Simar, Mahishi block of Saharsa district while he was accompanied by his security detail. A speeding tempo collided with them from behind, leaving both Sada and his guard injured.

Both individuals were quickly transported to the district government hospital and were later discharged after receiving first aid. Sada, who was visiting his village to celebrate the New Year, assured that he and his guard are now "perfectly alright."
