Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party, leveled serious accusations against the BJP, implicating them in last month's violent outbreak in Sambhal. Yadav described the BJP as a 'conspiratorial' force, suggesting that the ruling party is actively undermining democracy.
During a speech at the party headquarters in Lucknow, Yadav criticized the state administration, accusing it of misusing power for political purposes, especially during a survey conducted on November 24. The incident led to four deaths and numerous injuries. Allegations have been made against Sambhal's SP MP Zia Ur Rahman for incitement.
Yadav also condemned the current government's political tactics, describing them as negative and divisive. He addressed ongoing issues such as inflation and unemployment and criticized the handling of Mahakumbh preparations. Yadav remains confident about the SP's victory in the 2027 elections, citing past successes under their governance.
