Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal has accused the Congress party of deliberately disrupting proceedings during the winter session of Parliament. Meghwal, in a candid interview with ANI, criticized Congress for allegedly distorting Home Minister Amit Shah's remarks on the occasion of the 150-year celebration of the Constitution.
Meghwal further alleged that certain contentious issues, which frequently disrupt Parliament sessions, often emerge from international sources. He noted that this pattern continued with Congress spearheading disruptions despite separations within their allies in the INDIA bloc over these issues.
The Union Minister pointed to a division among opposition parties, citing different priorities. The Samajwadi Party focused on domestic violence incidents, while the TMC raised concerns about minority violence in Bangladesh. Meghwal highlighted Congress' failure to unite its allies, which led them to propose a discussion on the Constitution, ultimately resulting in the exposure of Congress' historical disrespect towards Dr. BR Ambedkar.
