In an escalating war of words, BJP leader Vijay Goel has launched a sharp critique against Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal over the 'Pujari Granthi Samman Yojana.' Goel branded Kejriwal's recent announcements as mere electoral tactics, questioning their sincerity amidst the looming Delhi assembly elections.
Echoing similar sentiments, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia labeled Kejriwal as 'anti-Hindu' and 'anti-development.' Bhatia accused Kejriwal of failed promises and alleged a double standard, given AAP's controversial stance on liquor licensing near religious sites. He questioned Kejriwal's sudden financial promises to religious leaders.
In response, Kejriwal took to X (formerly Twitter) to counter the BJP's accusations, highlighting the absence of similar measures in BJP-governed states despite decades of power. He urged the BJP to implement priest-friendly policies instead of resorting to personal attacks, asserting that such actions would benefit the entire nation.
