Syrian Opposition Excluded from National Dialogue
The Syrian opposition's former head, Hadi al-Bahra, claims no invitation has been received for the national dialogue announced by the current government. The dialogue, led by Syria's de facto leader Ahmed al-Sharaa, aims to involve various societal sectors but remains unscheduled. Sharaa's leadership follows a swift takeover, ending a 13-year civil war.

The former head of Syria's recognized opposition claims exclusion from the national dialogue set by the new regime. Hadi al-Bahra, in an interview with Al Arabiya TV, stated no communication has been established with the administration.
On the contrary, Syria's de facto leader, Ahmed al-Sharaa, has indicated participation across Syrian society, addressing critical issues like the dissolution of parliament, although no date is set for the talks.
Sharaa's rise marks a pivotal moment as his group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham's decisive campaign recently ended Syria's prolonged civil war, raising questions among foreign stakeholders such as Turkey and Russia about the country's future.
