In a pointed critique, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday condemned Union Home Minister Amit Shah's remarks concerning Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, labeling them as emblematic of the BJP's 'arrogance.'
Leader of the opposition Thackeray charged that these statements displayed an outright disrespect towards revered figures such as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Dr Ambedkar, highlighting an attempt by the BJP to rewrite history.
Furthermore, Thackeray challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take decisive action against Shah, questioning the support of BJP allies for Shah's remarks and expressing concerns over BJP's divisive Hindutva strategies.
