DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin, in an indirect critique, lashed out at the BJP-led Central government for its recent allegations against key ally, Congress, concerning Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's legacy.
Stalin's comments came shortly after Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused Congress of multiple 'sins', including Ambedkar's electoral defeats with Nehru playing a pivotal role, and the delay in awarding him the Bharat Ratna.
The BJP leadership, including Union Ministers Amit Shah and Kiren Rijiju, intensified their attack, questioning Congress's authenticity in honoring Ambedkar while underscoring the BJP's contributions to his memorials.
