In a stirring campaign speech, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray issued a stern warning, stating that anyone who intimidates his party workers will be 'made to sleep on an ice slab.' This bold remark has touched off a war of words with rival Sena leader Ramdas Kadam.
Thackeray's comments, made during a rally in Dapoli, Maharashtra, were directed at Ramdas Kadam and his son, MLA Yogesh Kadam, branding them 'traitors' for aligning with Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's faction. Thackeray emphasized his responsibility to protect his party's workers with the upcoming assembly elections in mind.
In response, Ramdas Kadam defended his son, claiming that Aaditya Thackeray had expelled close associates from the party. He denied Thackeray's accusations, calling them betrayal since Thackeray had played a role in his political marginalization. The tensions reflect the ongoing split within Shiv Sena since 2022.
