In a bold claim, Congress leader Jitu Patwari accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government of making false promises regarding the Ladli Behna Yojana scheme in Madhya Pradesh, labeling them as deceptive election tactics.
Patwari, addressing a press conference, challenged BJP's Shivraj Singh Chouhan to present evidence of any beneficiary receiving the promised monthly allowance of Rs 3,000 under the scheme. He criticized the ruling coalition for failing to fulfill its commitments.
The Ladli Behna Yojana was promised to benefit women financially, but Patwari argues it was merely a vote-gaining ploy without real implementation. He asserted that voters in Maharashtra face similar deceptions as they approach the upcoming assembly elections.
