Iran Pledges Support in Israel-Hezbollah Ceasefire Talks

In a crucial moment for Middle Eastern diplomacy, Iran has voiced its unwavering support for Lebanon’s government and Hezbollah amid ongoing ceasefire negotiations with Israel. This assurance was articulated by Ali Larijani, a senior advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, during discussions held on Friday.
Larijani clarified Iran's stance, stating, "We are not looking to sabotage anything. We are after a solution to the problems." His comments followed a meeting with Lebanon’s caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati and Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri.
The Iranian advisor underscored that Iran would steadfastly support Lebanon’s 'resistance,' referring to Hezbollah, irrespective of circumstances. This development could signify a pivotal moment in the pursuit of peace in the region.
