In a disturbing incident in Thane district, Maharashtra, a BJP functionary named Jugal Upadhyay was reportedly attacked by two men at his office in the vibrant Mahatma Gandhi Road area.
The incident unfolded when Upadhyay arrived at his office. According to police, two men in their twenties entered the premises, objected to social media content, and vandalized the office environment, even throwing his laptop to the floor.
Efforts to apprehend the attackers are ongoing, with local BJP leaders having briefed Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The police are investigating the case, seeking to understand the motives behind the assault.
