As Jharkhand prepares for the second phase of polling on November 20, Union Home Minister Amit Shah confidently declared that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is poised to form the state's government, while the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) is expected to be ousted.
Criticizing incumbent Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Shah insisted Soren's political tenure is nearing its end. Referencing a raid that resulted in a Rs 350 crore seizure from a Congress leader's residence, Shah questioned the ownership of the funds, insinuating corruption among Soren's associates.
Furthermore, Union Minister Shah accused Congress of historically opposing Jharkhand's formation and condemned Soren for collaborating with them. Shah pledged to address unemployment by establishing factories in the state and vowed legislative action against Bangladeshi infiltrators, whom he blamed for job losses. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath echoed these sentiments, accusing ruling parties of enabling leftist influences in the state.
