Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, remarking on Sonia Gandhi's attempts to elevate her son politically. He suggested that Rahul's political ventures, depicted as a 'plane', would crash yet again during the upcoming elections in Jharkhand.
During an election rally in Giridih, Shah alleged that the Karnataka waqf board has been involved in grabbing lands, including those of ancient temples. He declared that a bill would be passed in Parliament to amend the Waqf Board Act, regardless of opposition from Congress and its allies.
Shah further criticized the JMM-led coalition in Jharkhand for using illegal immigrants as 'vote banks' and vowed to eliminate immigration and corruption if the BJP is elected. He promised prosperity and the development of mineral-based industries to prevent migration for work.
