Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on the Hemant Soren-led Jharkhand government, accusing the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha of being engulfed in corruption. Addressing an election rally in Giridih, Shah promised that if the BJP assumes power, it would cleanse the state of infiltrators and introduce legislation to restore encroached tribal lands.
Shah criticized Soren for allegedly ignoring industrial development and failing to utilize local resources like aluminum and iron ore. He accused the government of turning a blind eye to infiltrators marrying local women and seizing their lands, pledging to rectify these issues under BJP leadership.
In a pointed critique of the Congress party, Shah challenged Rahul Gandhi's stance on Article 370, asserting that Kashmir remains an integral part of India and highlighting PM Modi's decisive actions against terrorism. He also emphasized the NDA's commitment to amend the Waqf Bill, despite opposition from Congress and JMM, to protect historic lands.
