In a controversial Facebook post, Puneeth Kerehalli criticized Khan for his comments referring to Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy as 'Kaalia' during campaigning for Congress candidate C P Yogeeshwara in the Channapatna assembly bypoll.
The provocative nature of the post led Chamarajpet police to arrest Kerehalli, acting on a complaint lodged by a supporter of Khan.
